We would like for the Children’s Liturgy of the Word, aka CLOW, to return on a weekly basis at the 10:00am Mass. But we need help to be able to do this. High school students or adults are welcome to take the children in grades 1 through 5 to Apostles Hall, read the readings from the Children’s Lectionary, and then help them to reflect and respond to God’s Word. All material is provided along with training. About 8 people would be ideal so no one is overburdened. Contact Cheryle at 440 327-2201 ext. 119, or koberna@stpeternr.org, if you are interested in helping with this ministry by September 23rd.
See our Pro-Life page for some information regarding the November 7th ballot, Issue 1, that proposes an amendment to Ohio’s Constitution that would put the health and safety of women at risk, threaten the rights of parents and enable abortion up to full-term birth. It includes a video from Bishop Malesic, a 54-day Rosary Novena and the first (2) videos in the diocese's "Faith and Healing" series, which features Christy, a woman who struggled to move past having an abortion at age 16, but who has found faith and forgiveness as she gives back to women facing the same challenges she once did.
The Most Reverand Edward C. Malesic, Bishop of Cleveland, has issued a document outlining Diocesan Policy on gender along with a document answering FAQ's.
