Readers of Scripture

Our Lectors minister by reading at our Liturgical celebrations, especially at Sunday Mass. The challenge of being a Lector is to proclaim God's Word so as to be heard and understood in the last pew of the church; thus a good, strong speaking voice is an asset.

This ministry requires practice and a devotion to the study of the Word of God.

Training is provided for all new lectors with occasional workshops held.
