Evangelization Committee

Together as disciples of Christ, we rely on the power of the Holy Spirit to proclaim the good news of God's all-inclusive love as Jesus did, by word and example, so that God's reign is realized in and through our community of St. Peter.

We are committed to affirming the value of each individual by promoting fellowship and ecumenism. We strive to open up avenues through which the risen Christ can invite all God's children to taste and see the goodness of the Lord.

The purpose of the Evangelization Committee according to Council Charter is to:

• Transform the parish into a place of warm hospitality with a genuine spirit of inclusion.

• Welcome new people by listening to them and allowing them to make a difference.

• Affirm and develop the giftedness of current parishioners.

• Develop programs that promote reconciliation for alienated or marginalized Catholics.

• Provide ways to assist all the baptized to fulfill the mission of evangelization.

• ​Encourage and support ecumenical programs and inter-faith dialogue in the broader community.
