Consolation Ministry

"Blessed are they who mourn; they shall be consoled." Mt 5:3  

St. Peter Parish is heeding the words and example of the Lord Jesus with our Ministry of Consolation. 

The responsibility of this ministry rests with us, the believing community. Each of us is called to this ministry according to our unique gifts:

• to care for the dying;

• to pray for the dead;

• to comfort those who mourn. 

A Bereavement Support Group for anyone who is journeying through a loss is hosted yearly. Our next session will take place in February 2025 on the following Thursdays at 6:30 pm in the Parish Center:
